Adrian_Bell_veniceAdrian Bell is a musician and writer who lives on the Central Coast, north of Sydney, Australia. He is the author of the children’s book Mother Moth, with illustrations by his wife, Francesca. From an early age he studied cello with his father, Gladstone Bell, and currently teaches at Central Coast Conservatorium.

Adrian Bell has composed music for cello, cello and piano, cello and guitar, viola, chamber ensembles, piano and orchestra. He has written songs, including settings of William Blake’s Songs of Innocence and Experience, and the libretto for Phillip Rutherford’s opera Aurora. Seeing creative art-forms as means to explore subjective, interior experience, he has published poetry, short stories, and written for ABC TV’s Playschool.
